The Razor Power Core E100 Electric Scooter is driven by Power Core™ Technology and design. This means that ride time is longer (50% longer than the Razor E100 model), the scooter is maintenance-free (no alignment needed, no chain, no belts) and the battery lasts for up to 60 minutes of continuous use. This model’s steel frame and fork have a spring-loaded kick stand. It features a kick start system and high-torque hub motor with a twist-grip acceleration control. Brakes are front-caliper and hand-operated. The rechargeable battery system runs on two 12 volt batteries (total 24 volts). The Razor Power Core E100 measures 33.7” x 16.5” x 35” and can easily transport up to 120 lbs at a maximum speed of 11 mph. Product weight is 26 lbs. This model comes in blue and purple.
The motor on this scooter is extremely sensitive. It allows you to reach full speed as soon as the throttle is engaged. The twist-throttle mechanism does not have a selection of speed settings. It’s an all or nothing kind of scooter. So you might have to remind your kids to take extra caution when it comes to speeding up. When the brakes are engaged, the scooter stops within 5 feet. This is a safety measure to prevent abrupt braking. Young children might have trouble squeezing the brake lever all the way in, thus adult supervision and help are recommended.
