They have two electric scooters on the market today, the Swagger and the Swagger Pro. Both electric scooters have the same shape and design. The Pro model is just a bit faster, with better battery life, for a slightly higher price. So how does the Swagtron Swagger Pro stack-up against other electric scooters? We posit that it lies somewhere in the middle. If you’re a novice rider or just looking for a fun way to get around, this scooter could be the one for you.
Swagtron Swagger Pro Electric Scooter Main Features
Weighing in at only 16 pounds, the Swagtron Swagger Pro is definitely on the lighter side when it comes to most electric scooters. This scooter’s lightweight carbon fiber frame is one of its better features, as is the built-in LED display on the handlebars. Overall, the Swagger Pro rides smoothly, handles well, and is easy to control. However, from our testing we found that it definitely falls on the lower end of its advertised range of 5-18 miles and advertised top speed of 16 miles per hour. If more speed and longer range are what you’re after, check out the EcoReco S5. The S5 costs more but it’s worth every penny, and if price is an issue you can always look for a good deal on a used one.
Although the Swagtron Swagger Pro may not actually live-up to some of its advertised specs, it does have some pretty cool things going for it. It’s easy maneuvering, fast braking, and great balance all help novice riders gain confidence, and offers anyone an enhanced urban transportation experience. So whether you are an e-scoot grommet or just looking for a fun way to ride around town, this scooter is a good choice.
